RACE LINES 03: EDR ROUND 3

Round three took place in beautiful Pyrenees, Loudenvielle. Last few years have been rainy here so it was a fresh feeling to blast through the dry and dusty trails this time.
I came to Loudenvielle last minute because there was a testing session in Freiburg with Intend BC to learn new things about the setup of the new Hoover shock. With this action being successful, we then drove through the night to be in time for registration. After that, there were a few hours left in the day before practice, so we took the opportunity to create some content for you. Find it enclosed.

Evaluation

Round 3 of EDR was steep and fast. I’ve learned some important things about bike set up for such tracks.

Race course in Loudenvielle took out many riders by surprise. It was very easy to make a mistake and the consequences were super high in the French steeps. I haven’t had the fastest pace on the stages, but managed to keep the results very consistent which resulted in P27 overall.

1. Dry Racing
First proper race in dry conditions — many experiences learned.

2. Freiburg Testing
Different compression tunes tested for the new bike.

3. Media Coverage
We worked hard to provide some great photos for you!

What’s next?
I am already in Leogang after 1500km of driving and preparing for EDR RD4. This race will be very demanding as it will probably be raining very hard the whole week and anything can happen! All of the pictures and videos will be uploaded on my OneDrive and sorted into folders so you can also tag the photograph.
Thanks for following our journey!
